Vendlovka Lodge – Černá hora – Černý Důl – Janské Lázně

We are currently renovating the original Vendlovka Lodge, with full completion expected by the end of 2027. Nevertheless, this season we will be operating a take-away window offering refreshments for hikers, cross-country skiers, skiers, and adventurers heading out to the ridges surrounding our hut. The lodge is historically tied to the development of tourism and skiing in the vicinity of Janské Lázně and Černá hora. Situated at an altitude of 995 meters, it has served for generations as a sanctuary for skiers and hikers heading up to the ridges.

Over the years, the hut has frequently changed operators. Historically, it belonged to a group of enclave buildings known as Zrcadlové Boudy (Spiegelbauden). Vendlovka originally derived its name from the German Wendl-Baude, associated with the Wendl family.
